It is never too late to visit island Hvar.
Even in late October it is still warm enough to bike and maybe swim on a sunny day.
We decided to spend a weekend on bikes and enjoy Hvar off season.
What to do on island Hvar, one of the most attractive Adriatic islands?
First of all, a great idea would be to explore Hvar by bike.
If you start from Split, you should take a two hour ferry to Stari Grad.
Once in Stari Grad, join the locals in grappa or wine tasting on the corner and visit few museums.

Lunch in Stari Grad |
Before moving on, it is always a good idea to stop in nearby restaurant and have a light lunch before the ride. 🙂
After a lunch in Stari Grad and gelato in Jelsa, we’ve checked quiet vilage of Vrboska.
This should be a calm ride but we tried to overtake our colleagues on tandem which wasn’t an easy task.
